Generally, glazing conditions for insulating glass and laminated safety glass is valid for bent glass as well. The glazing rabbets must be designed to respect valid maximum tolerances and to prevent any additional press or bend stress. Direct contact between the glass and metal must be excluded.
The width of glazing rabate should be designed according to the formula : L = E+ width of the widest component+8 mm. For easier glazing, the glazing ledge should be positioned on the convex side.
